Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking an experienced professional to lead urban drainage modelling and data analytics work across major projects in Istanbul.

You will guide project teams, apply advanced modelling tools, and ensure delivery to cost, schedule, quality, and client expectations. The role requires Chartered status or active progression, strong GIS and data analysis skills, and a track record in wastewater and stormwater modelling.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related STEM field.
• Chartered member of a relevant engineering or environmental institution (e.g., ICE, CIWEM) or actively pursuing.
• Strong track record in water industry; wastewater and stormwater modelling.
• Advanced capability with InfoWorks ICM.
• Proficient in GIS platforms (ArcGIS/QGIS) and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of urban drainage modelling projects, ensuring robust model build and analysis.
• Develop catchment strategies and engineered solutions addressing development, climate change, and water quality.
• Mentor and guide junior modellers within the team to support staff development.
• Coordinate day-to-day task allocation for project teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist in preparing cost/time estimates for modelling work and designs.
• Utilize InfoWorks ICM, GIS and data analytics tools to provide reliable client advice.
• Plan and write technical reports communicating outcomes to clients.
• Maintain regular client/stakeholder communication during delivery.
• Share knowledge across the regional and wider UK business.
• Ensure work aligns with Stantec quality procedures and core values.
