Job summary

Stantec is seeking a senior professional to contribute expert input in urban drainage modelling and data analytics. You will lead project technical delivery, guide junior modellers, and coordinate workloads to meet cost and schedule targets.

The role emphasizes using InfoWorks ICM and GIS tools, developing catchment strategies, and communicating complex results clearly to clients and stakeholders within the UK regional framework.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related STEM field.
• Chartered status or progressing toward chartered with ICE/CIWEM or equivalent.
• Proven track record in water/wastewater and stormwater modelling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of urban drainage modelling projects with robust model build and analysis.
• Develop catchment strategies using existing or new models and data analytics.
• Provide daily technical guidance and training to junior modellers.
• Coordinate day-to-day task allocation for small project teams to ensure delivery.
• Assist in preparing robust cost and time estimates for modelling work packages and designs.
• Utilise InfoWorks ICM, GIS and data analytics tools to deliver reliable client solutions.
• Plan and write technical reports communicating outcomes to clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain regular client/stakeholder communications and relationships.
• Share knowledge across regional and wider UK teams to promote technical growth.
• Ensure work aligns with Stantec Quality Systems and procedures.
