Job summary

Avenga seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design and operate secure, high-performing infrastructure across CDN, WAF, DNS and edge security. You will drive automation, implement SRE best practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reliability and security.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on Akamai Experience, Terraform/IaC proficiency and strong CI/CD, GitOps, Kubernetes skills in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and/or Platform Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage Akamai CDN, WAF, DNS and Edge Security solutions.
• Automate infrastructure and platform operations using Terraform, IaC and APIs.
• Build and maintain monitoring, alerting and CI/CD solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Improve platform reliability, performance, availability and security.
