Job summary

Beko Corporate is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and optimize washing machine and washer-dryer systems, develop cost-competitive components, and lead project work with international teams. You will design heaters, condensers, fans, sensors, and program algorithms for efficient washing and drying performance.

The role requires collaboration across global teams, understanding safety and regulatory standards, and applying Six Sigma methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Ability to work with international teams and diverse cultures.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication is essential.
• Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical/water safety standards (UL, IEC, EN, CCC, Gmark) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize washing machine and washer-dryer system designs and components.
• Design components such as heater, fan, condenser, sensors, and valves.
• Create and optimize washing and drying program algorithms and energy performance.
• Collaborate on local and global projects (Italy, Slovakia, Russia, Romania, APAC, US).
• Ensure compliance with international regulations related to washing machine/dryer products.

• Know the development of washing machine and washer-dryer systems and their components
• Improve and optimize the system design of current washing and drying functions of washer-dryer machines and washing machines
• Develop innovative and cost-competitive systems and component solutions
• Be a team member of Beko’s local and global projects (Italy, Slovakia, Russia, Romania, APAC, US)
• Follow and report international regulations related to washing machine and/or washer/dryer products
• Have knowledge of washing and/or drying performance standards of EN and other specified countries
• Have textile washing & drying technology know-how
• Have heat transfer know-how and washing chemicals know-how, textile damage and mechanism know-how, textile and chemicals standards know-how, heat pump design know-how
• Design washing machine and/or washer dryer components, projects, and improvements on components; heater (air), air circulation fan, condenser, condenser water valve, pressure sensor
• Design drying program algorithm and washing program algorithm, safety algorithm design, hygienic washing and drying algorithm design, steam algorithm design, auxiliary functions algorithm design, energy consumption and performance program design, water intake algorithm design, drying algorithm design, foam algorithm design, auxiliary function algorithm design, mechanism design knowledge
• Have know-how in spinning profiles, rinsing efficiency improvement, safety design, material knowledge, image processing and deep learning know-how
• Hold a Six Sigma certificate
• Know electrical/water safety standards (UL, IEC, EN, CCC, Gmark)
• Know SAP and Teamcenter.

The position is located in Manisa.
