Job summary

ICterra Information and Communication Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Beşiktaş to work on high-volume, transaction-intensive enterprise applications. You will focus on Billing, Order Management, Invoicing/Invoice, and Collections processes, and contribute to payments gateway development.

You will design, develop, and optimize back-end services with Oracle Database and .NET/C#, participate in design reviews, and collaborate with business, analysis, testing, and architecture

Qualifications

• Hands-on development in billing, order management, invoicing or collections domains.
• Minimum 5 years of Oracle Database and PL/SQL development experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/PLSQL and database-side business logic.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain software solutions using Oracle PL/SQL and .NET/C#.
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, and complex queries.
• Develop backend services and interfaces with Oracle Database using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, coding standards, and technical documentation.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Oracle Database and PL/SQL development, along with hands‑on experience in .NET/C#.

The successful candidate will work on high-volume, transaction-intensive enterprise applications and contribute to the development and modernization of critical business processes.

The role will have a particular focus on a project covering Billing, Order Management, Invoicing/Invoice, Collection processes and Payment Gateway development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain complex software solutions using Oracle PL/SQL and .NET/C#.
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, and complex SQL queries.
• Implement database‑side business logic and data processing solutions.
• Design and optimize database structures, queries, indexes, and data access patterns for high‑volume transactional systems.
• Perform SQL/PLSQL performance tuning, execution plan analysis, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
• Develop backend applications and services using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
• Develop and maintain REST/SOAP integrations and backend services interacting with Oracle Database.
• Participate in analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Contribute to software and database architecture decisions, coding standards, code reviews, and technical documentation.
• Work closely with business, analysis, testing, and architecture teams on enterprise business processes.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on software development experience in at least one of the following domains: Billing, Order Management, Invoicing, or Collections. Experience in high‑volume transactional environments is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on Oracle Database and PL/SQL development experience.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, complex queries, and database‑side business logic.
• Strong experience in Oracle database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and execution plan analysis.
• Hands‑on software development experience with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, and/or .NET Core.
• Experience developing backend services and database‑intensive enterprise applications.
• Good understanding of relational database modeling, data integrity, transaction management, and concurrency.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and system integrations.
• Knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, and software development best practices.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Agile development environments.
• Experience with Kibana / Elasticsearch is preferred.
