Job summary

CBOT is seeking a senior software engineer to research and develop new technologies, provide end-to-end software development expertise, and mentor engineers.

You will coordinate analysis and design for Digiturk infrastructure applications, contribute to ongoing improvements, and guide teams on selected technologies. The role emphasizes data and application architecture, coding standards, and staying current in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Preferably experienced in financial systems, payment infrastructures, or transaction-intensive applications.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL and PL/SQL, including stored procedures, functions, packages, and performance optimization.
• Experienced in designing and developing highly scalable and multi-user architectures.
• Experienced in object-oriented software development.
• Strong knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Microservice Architecture and messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ.
• Experience with distributed cache technologies such as Redis.
• Knowledge and experience in cloud technologies.
• Experience with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Proficient in Domain Driven Design (DDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD) practices.
• Experience with Kibana and Elasticsearch.
• Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on documentation.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to take technical initiative when necessary.
