Job summary

Nestlé is seeking a Senior Project SHE Executive to join the Technical & Production team in Karacabey, Bursa. The role focuses on leading SHE activities across the project lifecycle, integrating SHE into design and construction, and ensuring compliance with Nestlé SHE requirements.

Strong incident investigation and risk management skills are essential. The successful candidate will manage contractor safety, oversee permits, ensure safe installation and handover, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in SHE, Engineering or Project Management.
• Experience in major investment, construction or industrial installation projects.
• Strong incident investigation, root-cause analysis and risk management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead SHE activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring governance and compliance with Nestlé SHE requirements.
• Integrate SHE into design and execution, including risk assessments, HAZID/HAZOP where applicable.
• Define and oversee contractor and subcontractor SHE requirements and permit-to-work processes.
• Ensure safe construction and installation activities with focus on high-risk work, emergency preparedness and risk controls.
• Maintain the Project SHE Risk Register and support MOC activities.
• Establish and track KPIs, provide reports to governance forums, escalate significant risks and contractor performance gaps.
• Lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis and sharing of lessons learned.
• Ensure SHE during installation, commissioning and handover, including FAT, SAT and PSSR.
• Promote safety leadership, environmental compliance and sustainable engineering practices.
