Job summary

Personify Health, Inc. is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test to join our health platform team. You will design and execute automated and manual tests, develop test plans and data from business requirements, and ensure quality across releases.

You will work with business and engineering teams to document detailed test suites, perform root cause analysis, and escalate issues with mitigation plans. This role emphasizes data integrity and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of SDET/Automation experience.
Experience with formal testing processes and formal defect management processes.
Experience writing test cases and test scenarios, both manual and automated.
Experience troubleshooting complex, distributed software applications.

Responsibilities

Build automated and manual tests: Develop new test suites that feed continuous delivery, testing, and deployment.
Write behavior-driven test suites: Document detailed test suites in a behavior driven development model.
Master the Health system: Maintain understanding of its design, architecture, business logic, and inter-dependencies.
Validate results against requirements: Analyze test execution results and report defects through the defect process.
Find root causes: Perform root cause analysis and escalate critical issues with mitigations.
Join the review cycle: Participate in reviews and technical discussions.
Estimate and report: Provide testing effort estimates and metrics to drive improvements.
Protect data integrity: Verify data integrity throughout testing.
