Job summary

Personify Health, Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer I to maintain and evolve our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for a healthcare SaaS platform.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to deploy new features safely, build runbooks, and optimize performance, security, and reliability. The role emphasizes automation, production support, and cross-functional collaboration in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in enterprise DevOps or software development.
• Prior experience in healthcare or other highly regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve cloud infrastructure: Own day-to-day management of AWS cloud infrastructure with a focus on security, scaling, cost optimization, and automation - using Terraform to provision and maintain resources as code.
• Support CI/CD pipelines: Support and improve continuous integration and deployment pipelines aligned with branching strategies and quality assurance requirements across multiple engineering teams.
• Bring new services into production: Collaborate with developers to transition new features and services through to production safely and efficiently.
• Develop operational runbooks: Build and maintain runbooks that standardize operational practices, reduce incident response time, and improve team consistency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems: Work in production environments focused on performance, availability, and scalability - applying log management and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues.
• Drive continuous improvement: Identify bottlenecks, evangelize best practices, and continuously improve infrastructure, tooling, and processes across the team.
• Evaluate emerging technologies: Stay current on new tools, technologies, and strategies - prototyping and integrating them into workflows where they add real value.
