EPAM Systems is seeking a proactive Senior/Lead SAP ABAP Developer with Java expertise to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. You will develop and maintain SAP ABAP and Java solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs, and contribute to the rollout of new functionalities.

Qualifications

5+ years of strong experience in SAP ABAP development.
Proficiency in Java programming.
Knowledge of SAP modules and integration concepts.
Understanding of DevOps principles and experience in related tools.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in English at a B2+ level.

Responsibilities

Perform ABAP and Java development activities.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and turn them into technical solutions.
Take part in the design, development, and rollout of new functionalities.
Identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Support system testing and quality assurance efforts.
Help maintain documentation of processes and procedures.
Keep existing SAP systems up to date through regular enhancements and patches.
