Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead Developer to join the client’s project team. The role focuses on designing and implementing efficient SAP ABAP programs while conducting system analysis and design activities. Collaboration with business analysts and teams will be essential to meet business needs.

The position requires strong SAP ABAP development experience with S/4HANA, RAP and OData, and proven team leadership. English proficiency at B2+ level is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of SAP ABAP development experience with knowledge of S/4HANA.
• Proficiency in ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP) and OData.
• Experience in team leadership and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality SAP ABAP programs aligned with coding standards and guidelines.
• Perform detailed analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation of complex SAP ABAP programs, reports, forms, and interfaces.
• Collaborate with business analysts to interpret and address business requirements with technical solutions.
• Implement system modifications and enhancements based on business needs.
• Identify system defects, troubleshoot errors, and provide timely resolutions; participate in design and code reviews, offering constructive feedback to team members.
