Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer with deep RF expertise to lead design, development, and optimization of embedded platforms for next-generation wireless technologies.

The role requires mastery of embedded software, hardware integration, and RF system-level performance, with collaboration across RF design, hardware, and systems teams. You will mentor engineers and contribute to IP development in a global engineering setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of embedded systems engineering with RF focus.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and embedded software for real-time systems.
• Experience with microcontrollers, DSPs, FPGAs, and SoCs used in RF apps.
• Familiarity with lab equipment for system validation.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement embedded system architectures for RF front-end and transceiver platforms.
• Develop firmware and low-level drivers for RF control, calibration, and signal processing.
• Integrate RF hardware with embedded software systems.
• Research and develop adaptive RF control methodologies (beamforming, dynamic tuning, coexistence).
• Prototype and validate algorithms for RF calibration, power management, and signal integrity.
• Collaborate with silicon and RF design teams to co-optimize hardware/software interfaces.
• Develop automated test frameworks for embedded RF systems.
• Perform system-level debugging, profiling, and optimization for real-time performance.
• Validate compliance with wireless standards (LTE, 5G NR, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) and regs.
