Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Istanbul, Turkey, is seeking a Principal Application Engineer for RF phased-array design and system integration.

You will lead antenna development, prototype boards, and reference designs, collaborating with global product teams to drive performance in demanding environments. The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters/PhD preferred) with 10+ years in applications engineering, strong EM knowledge, and excellent writing and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering; Masters or PhD preferred.
• Experience in antenna design and phased arrays.
• 10+ years in product applications engineering or related roles.
• Knowledge in EM simulation tools and principles.
• Strong writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn quickly and take calculated risks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop antennas.
• Design and develop phased array systems based on silicon components.
• Create schematics and PCB layouts for demo boards and reference designs.
• Evaluate products and applications using bench equipment.
• Develop system-level understanding to optimize product integration.
• Lead creation of advanced application tools, reference boards, and software.
• Participate in customer visits to support sales.
• Lead in-depth analysis of competitor products and provide insights.
• Create and deliver technical documentation and training.
