Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Turkey seeks a Lead Project Engineer for the Technical Platform Molding to drive global injection molding standards across sites. You will lead complex engineering projects with a high degree of autonomy and align with global engineering and operations objectives.

The role requires a Master’s in Mechanical/Process Engineering, 8–12 years in regulated manufacturing, and strong Turkish and English language skills (German a plus).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years of engineering experience in regulated manufacturing.
• Fluent in Turkish and English; German a strong advantage.
• Strong expertise in injection molding technologies, tooling, and manufacturing operations.
• Proven experience leading complex engineering projects in a global environment.
• Autonomy to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and optimization of manufacturing injection processes across sites.
• Independently manage engineering projects from concept to implementation, including planning, execution, budget, timeline, and risk management.
• Drive strategy with procurement on externally procured plastics parts.
• Act as the subject matter expert for injection molding and provide technical guidance.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement across sites.
• Conduct technical assessments, feasibility studies, and risk analyses.
• Collaborate with Procurement R&D, Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Global Engineering teams.
• Provide technical oversight for validation, qualification, and regulatory activities.
• Support validation activities, including protocol writing, test execution, and documentation review.
• Mentor engineers and strengthen organizational capabilities.
• Support supplier qualification, technology benchmarking, and evaluation of new manufacturing solutions.
