Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA based in Turkey for a fully remote role. You will manage multi-version Oracle databases (10g–19c), lead upgrades and migrations, and optimize performance across engines, with RMAN-based backup/recovery and high availability using RAC and Data Guard.

In this consulting position, you will work with distributed teams, deliver accurate estimates, and document technical work while supporting operating systems like Linux, Solaris, AIX, or HP-UX.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Oracle DBA experience.
• 2+ years working with Oracle Engineered Systems (ODA/Exadata).
• Hands-on upgrades to Oracle 19c and migrations.
• Strong RMAN, RAC, Data Guard, and Grid Control knowledge.
• Cloud experience with Oracle databases is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle environments across 10g, 11g, 12c, 19c with high reliability.
• Lead upgrades and migrations to Oracle 19c with minimal disruption.
• Tune performance and manage backup/recovery using RMAN.
• Maintain high availability with RAC, Data Guard, and partitioning.
• Monitor databases via Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control.
• Provide cross-platform OS support (Linux/OEL, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX).
• Collaborate with distributed teams on client engagements and estimates.
