Job summary

Philip Morris International in Izmir seeks a Senior Manager OPEN+ Deployment to turn OPEN+ strategy into effective deployment across manufacturing areas. You will build, accelerate and stabilize OPEN+ systems, enabling teams to deliver sustainable business results with increasing ownership and self-sufficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in Production and Continuous Improvement within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience deploying OPEN+, IWS, TPM, WCM or an equivalent Lean operating system.
• Led complex manufacturing transformation, capability-building or performance-improvement initiatives.
• Experience coaching manufacturing leaders and influencing multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluent in English and Turkish.
• Lean Six Sigma, coaching, change management or another relevant operational excellence qualification is an advantage.
• Knowledge of digital and AI-enabled tools applied to operational excellence and decision‑making is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Translate the site OPEN+ roadmap into clear deployment priorities, practical plans and measurable outcomes.
• Drive the integration of OPEN+ pillars, Daily Management Systems and Standard Work Processes.
• Accelerate phase progression by assessing maturity, closing system gaps and ensuring disciplined execution.
• Enable Business Units and line organizations to own, sustain and continuously improve their operating systems.
• Monitor system maturity, capability development, KPI trends and business impact.
• Identify gaps linked to performance losses and lead structured improvement actions.
• Drive loss elimination, productivity improvement and best-practice reapplication.
• Use digital, data-driven and AI-enabled solutions to strengthen problem-solving and decision-making.
• Coach manufacturing leaders, Pillar teams and Deployment Leads on OPEN+ systems and methodologies.
• Provide senior-level direction and prioritize deployment activities across manufacturing areas
• Build the capabilities required for teams to take greater ownership of their performance.

This Opportunity Could Be Right For You If You

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Have at least 10 years of experience in Production and Continuous Improvement within a manufacturing environment.
• Previous production experience is a must.
• Have proven experience deploying OPEN+, IWS, TPM, WCM or an equivalent Lean operating system.
• Have led complex manufacturing transformation, capability-building or performance-improvement initiatives.
• Have experience coaching manufacturing leaders and influencing multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, facilitation, stakeholder management and change leadership capabilities.
• Are fluent in English and Turkish.
• Lean Six Sigma, coaching, change management or another relevant operational excellence qualification is an advantage.
• Knowledge of digital and AI-enabled tools applied to operational excellence and decision‑making is an advantage.
