Job summary

Aras Kargo is seeking a Senior Network Specialist to actively participate in our network infrastructure security efforts. You will configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and SIEM tools, analyze traffic for threats, and ensure secure remote access while aligning with ISO 27001/NIST standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in network security, CEH/CompTIA Security+/CCNA-Security, and strong English. You will collaborate with SOC, vendors, and incident response teams in a hybrid office setting in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electronics Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Ensure and improve the security of the company’s network infrastructure.
• Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, and other network security solutions (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, etc.).
• Analyze network traffic to detect abnormal behavior, potential threats, and security vulnerabilities.
• Manage network segmentation, VLAN, and ACL configurations.
• Plan and apply security patches on network devices.
• Design and maintain network architectures in compliance with security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
• Configure VPN (SSL/IPSec) to ensure secure remote access.
• Network Security and NAC: 802.1X, MAC Authentication, and Network Access Control
• Holds CCNA/CCNP or Aruba ACMA/ACMP certifications, or possesses knowledge at this level,
• Manage DDoS protection, IDS/IPS, and NDR solutions.
• Support relevant teams during security incidents (Incident Response) by blocking network access, providing logs, and isolating traffic when necessary.
• Collaborate with SOC, Information Security, and penetration testing teams to implement network‑related security measures.
• Monitor current cyber threats, security trends, and technologies to propose proactive measures.
• Contribute to Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BC) planning from a network perspective.
• Work closely with vendors and third‑party service providers to manage network security solutions, monitor performance, and implement improvements.

As part of our Headquarters IT team, we are looking for a 'Senior Network Specialist' who will actively participate in our network infrastructure processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in network security
• Advanced knowledge in firewall, IDS/IPS, and VPN systems management (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, etc.).
• Deep technical knowledge of L3-L7 network protocols, TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• Proficiency in OSI model and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Experience in SIEM solutions (Fortinet, QRadar, ArcSight, etc.) for log integration and network-side configuration.
• Preferably experience in supporting network-related penetration tests or attack simulation processes.
• Holds CEH, CompTIA Security+, and CCNA/CCNP Security certifications.
• Experience in vendor and third‑party service provider management.
• Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and quick decision‑making skills.
