Our journey, which began in 1979, has grown into a strong logistics network that delivers more than 1 million shipments daily across Türkiye, with 13 Regional Directorates, 28 Transfer Centers, nearly 1,000 branches, a fleet of 3,000 vehicles, and a team of 14,000 employees. As a subsidiary of Austrian Post Group, we continue our operations with international strength while investing in technology and innovation through Aras Digital, expanding beyond borders through Aras Global, and supporting the unifying power of sports through our Aras Kargo Women's Volleyball Team.
With our renewed identity, experience, and energy, we are setting our course toward the future. If you would like to grow, develop, and take a strong step forward in your career on this journey with us, we would be delighted to welcome you to our team.
You will be the technical owner of Aras Kargo's integration layer — designing, building, and governing all integrations across two major domains: customer-facing APIs that power shipment creation, tracking, and delivery events for hundreds of e-commerce and enterprise clients, and internal system-to-system integrations connecting our operational platform, SAP, CRM, and partner applications. This is an architect-developer hybrid role: you are expected to be hands-on in implementation, not just design. You will write integration flows, build reusable components, and deliver working solutions alongside the team — not solely review or guide from the sidelines. This is a senior individual-contributor role with direct influence on architecture decisions and a mandate to build internal integration capability and reduce dependency on external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the integration architecture for all customer and system integrations
- Design API contracts, data models, and transformation rules
- Ensure non-functional requirements: availability, scalability, security, and observability are addressed in every design
- Own and evolve the integration platform setup (webMethods or equivalent iPaaS)
Hands-On Development
- Develop integration flows, services, and adapters directly on the platform (webMethods or equivalent)
- Build reusable integration components, transformation mappings, and error-handling frameworks
- Implement and unit-test critical or complex integrations end-to-end, not just specify them
- Contribute to code reviews, enforce development standards, and maintain platform quality
Technical Leadership & Enablement
- Guide and upskill internal analysts and developers on integration patterns, webMethods usage, and best practices
- Conduct design reviews and provide hands-on support during implementation phases
- Define coding standards, reusable components, and governance policies for the integration platform
- Gradually reduce dependency on the current third-party integration vendor by transitioning work in-house
Delivery & Operations
- Lead end-to-end delivery of integration projects from discovery to production
- Define and monitor SLAs for integration flows; establish alerting and observability standards
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues across multiple systems
- Collaborate with Business Solutions, Enterprise Architecture, SAP, and external customers
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in integration architecture or senior integration engineering roles
- Proven hands-on development experience with at least one enterprise integration platform (webMethods, MuleSoft, IBM App Connect, Azure Integration Services, or equivalent) — you must be able to build, not just design
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns: EIP, event-driven architecture, REST/SOAP API design, message transformation, orchestration vs. choreography
- Comfortable writing and owning integration code: flow services, adapters, transformations, and error-handling logic
- Experience with both customer-facing API integrations and internal app-to-app integrations
- Ability to produce clear architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and technical documentation
- Experience collaborating with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders
- Solid understanding of security practices: OAuth2, API keys, mTLS, rate limiting
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct hands-on experience with Software AG webMethods (Integration Server, API Gateway, Broker/Universal Messaging)
- Experience in logistics, e-commerce, or cargo industry integrations
- Familiarity with SAP integration scenarios (SAP S/4HANA, RFC/BAPI, IDoc, or SAP Integration Suite)
- Knowledge of event streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar)
- Experience building or managing an API developer portal
- Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate) or tools (LeanIX)
