Fundraise Up is seeking a senior mobile engineer to design, build, and maintain our iOS and Android apps. You’ll own mobile initiatives end-to-end, contributing to backend and web frontend changes as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years with React Native.
• Proficiency in React Native and TypeScript.
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals.
• Experience with RESTful API design and Node.js backend services.
• Familiarity with iOS and Android tooling (Xcode, Android Studio, Gradle).
• Understanding mobile OS fundamentals and security considerations.
• Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, E2E).
• Ability to own mobile initiatives end-to-end and review code for mobile patterns.
• English proficiency for daily communication.

Responsibilities

• Implement features, fix bugs, and resolve production incidents across iOS and Android, extending to backend and web frontend.
• Own mobile initiatives end-to-end from requirements to production release.
• Diagnose root causes across app, native layers, networking, and platform behavior.
• Review code and designs for correctness in component structure and navigation.
• Evolve mobile engineering standards, testing, and release policy.
• Monitor health of shipped work, releases, and post-release issues on both platforms.
