Fundraise Up is seeking an experienced Mobile Engineer to design, build, and maintain our iOS and Android apps. You’ll contribute end-to-end across the mobile stack, including backend and web changes needed to deliver features.

You’ll join a distributed team focused on a scalable product ecosystem for nonprofits. Strong React Native and TypeScript skills, plus 8+ years in software development, are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years with React Native.
• Proficiency in React Native and TypeScript.
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals and REST API understanding.
• Familiarity with iOS/Android tooling (Xcode, Android Studio).
• Experience with secure storage and mobile security practices.

Responsibilities

• Implement features, fix bugs, and resolve incidents across iOS and Android.
• Own mobile initiatives end-to-end from requirements through release.
• Diagnose complex mobile issues across native and JS layers.
• Review code and designs for correctness and mobile patterns.
• Contribute to engineering standards and release policies.
• Monitor release health and post-release issues.
