Job summary

Fundraise Up, a global nonprofit fundraising platform, is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to own end-to-end areas such as observability or CI/CD. You will drive design, deployment, and reliability across on-prem and Kubernetes environments, mentoring others and leading incident responses.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on Linux experience (Ubuntu) and Prometheus stack knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design, build orchestration, and artifact delivery.
• Proficient in containers and Kubernetes (Helm) and Git workflows.
• Experience with Ansible, Bash or Python for automation and observability.
• Production/on-call experience with incident response and post-mortems.

Responsibilities

• Own one core platform area end-to-end: observability or CI/CD, including architecture, reliability, and roadmap.
• Drive technical initiatives from design to production and post-launch health.
• Define requirements and next steps in ambiguous situations.
• Design for reliability and scale across platforms and integrations.
• Support developers by deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting apps on on-prem and Kubernetes environments.
• Automate repetitive operations and provisioning to reduce toil.
• Lead incident resolution, post-mortems, and systemic fixes; participate in on-call duties.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers through reviews and pairing.
• Apply AI to day-to-day tasks: troubleshooting, development, and research.
