Job summary

FUCHS Lubricants Türkiye is seeking a Senior Technical Services & Operations Specialist to lead field teams and oversee lubrication-related operations. The role focuses on blending technical knowledge with hands-on field leadership to meet customer requirements and improve service delivery.

The successful candidate will manage multi-location operations, coordinate maintenance, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining HS&E standards and strong customer relations across the Türkiye

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, or related engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in lubricants, maintenance, technical services, or industrial field operations.
• Experience in managing and coordinating technical and/or field teams, preferably across multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of lubricants, lubrication practices, and industrial applications.
• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance, preventive maintenance, and rotating equipment.
• Experience in coordinating field operations, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing continuous improvement activities.
• Strong customer orientation with effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong planning, coordination, problem-solving, and team management capabilities.
• Ability to combine field experience with technical analysis and reporting.
• At least Upper-Intermediate level of English.
• Good command of MS Office programs.
• Flexibility to travel in line with field and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating technical and field teams, ensuring effective workforce planning, work scheduling, and operational continuity.
• Coordinating operational, administrative, and people-related matters concerning field teams in collaboration with relevant functions.
• Supporting team members in developing their areas of technical expertise by providing guidance, training, and know-how transfer.
• Ensuring effective management of day-to-day technical operations in line with customer requirements, company standards, and HS&E principles.
• Leading field operations related to lubricants, lubrication practices, and mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring technical issues are identified and resolved effectively.
• Coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, particularly for rotating equipment, and supporting the continuous improvement of maintenance and lubrication practices.
• Managing and developing the Fullcheck service portfolio in line with market needs, customer expectations, and technological developments.
• Developing and maintaining technical tools and services to support Industrial Sales Teams.
• Managing customer technical requirements and maintaining effective communication with customers regarding ongoing field operations, technical issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Managing the technical complaint process and coordinating necessary actions to ensure customer issues are resolved promptly and satisfactorily.
• Planning and monitoring product and lubricant trials in the field, evaluating their technical performance, and ensuring effective reporting of results and benefits.
• Following developments in lubricants, base oils, additives, lubrication technologies, and competitor products/services, and transferring relevant technical know-how to the teams.
• Participating in technical meetings with suppliers, global partners, and other relevant stakeholders, and ensuring effective knowledge sharing within the organization.
• Managing internal and external technical training activities and supporting the continuous technical development of field teams.
• Ensuring the preparation of technical reports, benefit analyses, best-practice studies, and practical technical documentation related to lubricants and lubrication technologies.
