Job summary

Argela Technologies is seeking a senior backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices with Java and Spring Boot. You will work with Redis, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD in an Agile environment, delivering high-performance systems.

You will collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Product teams to ensure clean code, robust testing, and efficient deployment in on-premise environments. Excellent English communication is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on Java and Spring Boot experience
• Strong microservices and distributed systems knowledge
• Experience with Redis, Kafka, and major RDBMS
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Excellent performance analysis and optimization skills
• Experience with unit and integration testing
• Proficient in Git and version control
• Agile/Scrum development experience
• Knowledge of JVM tuning and profiling tools
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture
• DDD and Clean Architecture familiarity
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools to boost productivity
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
• English proficiency at professional level

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services based on microservices architecture

• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Strong skills in system performance analysis and optimization
• Experience with unit and integration testing
• Proficiency in Git and version control best practices
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Experience with JVM performance tuning and profiling tools
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Architecture principles
• Proven ability to effectively utilize AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to increase development productivity, reduce boilerplate coding, and accelerate implementation without compromising code quality
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
