Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to join our international team and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of scalable backend systems across multiple markets.

You will develop and maintain backend applications using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot, design microservice architectures, work with RabbitMQ/Kafka, Redis/Couchbase, and Oracle/PostgreSQL, participate in CI/CD, and ensure high performance and code quality.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices.
• Experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ/Kafka).
• Familiarity with databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and caching systems.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and code quality practices.
• Solid understanding of concurrency, transactions, and performance optimization.
• Fluent in Turkish and English.
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement microservice architectures.
• Work with messaging systems (RabbitMQ/Kafka).
• Interact with databases Oracle and PostgreSQL and caching layers.
• Contribute to system modernization and transformation projects.
