Job summary

Agito Software & Consulting is seeking a Java Developer with 3+ years of professional experience to join our project for leading clients in the insurance sector. The role focuses on developing scalable backend services with Spring Boot, RESTful/SOAP web services, and modern messaging and data stores.

You will contribute to the full SDLC, write clean, maintainable code, and work within a team to deliver robust software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Programming, or any related field.
• 3+ years hands‑on Java development experience.
• Solid experience with Spring Boot and scalable backend applications.
• Experience with RESTful and/or SOAP‑based web services.
• Hands‑on experience with pub/sub messaging systems such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
• Practical experience using Redis.
• Working knowledge of PL/SQL.
• Experience with KrakenD or a similar metadata‑managed API Gateway.
• Ability to analyze requirements, develop solutions, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience with writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Good understanding of software development principles and backend application architecture.
• Preferably experience in the insurance sector.
• Having completed military service or postponed it for at least the next 2 years.
