Job summary

FEV Türkiye is seeking a Senior/Lead Power Electronics Hardware Design Engineer to join the Electrification Department. You will develop automotive power electronics hardware from concept through production, define architectures, and lead design reviews while mentoring engineers.

Hybrid work with international collaboration is offered. Requirements include a degree in electrical engineering, strong HV, gate-driver, and ISO26262 knowledge, plus hands-on lab experience with power electronic test

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering; Master’s or PhD is a plus.
• Experience level ranged from Junior to Lead based on expertise and ownership.
• Strong knowledge of power semiconductors (MOSFET, IGBT, SIC, GaN).
• High-frequency power electronics and HW design for multi-layer PCBs.
• Experience with ISO 26262 and automotive SPICE is beneficial.
• Ability to guide and mentor hardware engineers and lead reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop automotive power electronics products from concept to production.
• Define system and hardware architectures for power and control stages.
• Perform schematic design, BOM, and design reviews for hardware.
• Design gate-driver, sensing, isolation, power-supply, and protection circuits.
• Support PCB layout optimization for EMC/EMI and thermal performance.
• Conduct tolerance, worst-case, and reliability analyses.
• Support DFMEA/FMEDA activities and hardware safety concepts.
• Lead hardware reviews and mentor design engineers.
• Collaborate with systems, software, and testing teams.
