Job summary

Arena is seeking a Foreign Trade Executive to join its dynamic team in Turkey. The role focuses on managing end-to-end import/export operations, liaising with customs brokers and logistics providers, and ensuring compliant processes in line with Green Deal objectives.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Economics/International Trade/Logistics, strong English skills, and significant experience in foreign trade and logistics. A strategic, analytical mindset with a proactive approach is essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics & Administrative Sciences, International Trade, or Logistics.
• Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
• Experience at managerial or senior specialist level in foreign trade and international logistics.
• Knowledgeable in YYS processes and SSH/AEEE obligations.
• Sustainability mindset with knowledge of Green Deal and sustainable supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end import and export operations in line with legislation and budget targets.
• Coordinate relations with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers, monitoring costs and performance.
• Ensure compliant execution of customs clearance, transportation, and related processes.
• Coordinate YYS processes and ensure controls and documentation are up to date.
• Monitor SSH and AEEE obligations and coordinate related processes for compliance.
• Identify operational risks in foreign trade and lead cost-optimization initiatives.
• Contribute to projects aligned with Green Deal and sustainable supply chain objectives.
• Monitor changes in legislation and inform stakeholders accordingly.
• Track KPIs and develop action plans for improvement.
