Job summary

Fundraise Up, Inc. is seeking a senior DevOps Engineer to own an area end-to-end—observability or CI/CD—driving architecture, reliability, and roadmap. You will lead end-to-end initiatives, scope requirements, write designs, and own production delivery while mentoring others and participating in on‑call rotations.

The role requires 6+ years in DevOps/SRE, strong Linux, and fluent Russian. You’ll work in a fully remote setup with a global team, using Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, Jenkins,

Qualifications

• 6+ years as a DevOps Engineer / SRE (or very close responsibilities).
• Track record of owning technical initiatives end-to-end.
• Confident Linux skills (Ubuntu).
• Working knowledge of Prometheus stack and alerting.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience and artifact delivery.
• Containers: Docker and registries.
• Experience with Ansible and Git.
• Scripting in Bash or Python for automation.
• Production/on-call experience with incident response.
• Mentoring less experienced engineers.
• Ownership and attention to detail in high‑uptime environments.
• Fluent Russian (required) for a Russian-speaking team.

Responsibilities

• Own one core platform area end-to-end: observability or CI/CD and drive architecture, reliability, and roadmap.
• Lead end-to-end technical initiatives: requirements, design, tasks, production delivery, and post‑mortems.
• Define requirements and assumptions to remove ambiguity.
• Design for reliability and scale across platforms and topologies.
• Support developers: deploy/monitor on Kubernetes and on‑premise servers, troubleshoot builds, and manage metrics/logs.
• Automate repetitive toil and provisioning.
• Investigate production incidents as senior escalation point and on-call contributor.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and pairing.
