Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Energy Systems Engineering (MSc/PhD preferred).
• Deep knowledge of combustion, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
• Hands-on experience with combustion test setups.
• Fluent in English, able to work in cross-functional international teams.
• Clear communicator with proactive and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-functional activities to meet project timelines.
• Create and compare development concepts using defined evaluation criteria.
• Perform iterations and capability tests to improve technical results and meet internal standards.
• Apply established engineering calculation tools and guide others in using them.
• Act as a test owner: perform key tests, define best practices, update templates and improve test infrastructure.
• Investigate issues with cross-team collaboration to understand cause-effect relationships.
• Update test plans with lessons learned content and additional tests.
• Prepare test plans following internal procedures for timely, collaborative delivery.
• Bring focus points into risk management discussions and align with tools like FMEA or DRBFM.
• Ensure all planned tests are executed or document justified deviations and action plans.

• Updates test plans with additional "lessons learned" content and supplementary tests
• Prepares test plans in line with internal procedures, ensuring timely and collaborative delivery
• Brings focus points into risk management discussions and aligns them with risk tools like FMEA or DRBFM
• Ensures all planned tests are executed or documents justified deviations and related action plans
• Follows Engineering Change Management processes throughout the development cycleibilities and purpose.
