Job summary

Obilet is seeking a data-driven Finance Specialist to process monthly financial data, design control mechanisms, and analyze discrepancies for senior management. You will support budgeting and forecasting, develop long-term plans, and prepare reports for key stakeholders.

This role requires strong Turkish and English skills and a detail-oriented mindset. The candidate will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial accuracy and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or another relevant multi-disciplinary field.
• 3-4 years of professional work experience in tech or e-commerce, at a management consulting firm, or at an audit firm (Big4 experience is a plus).
• Excellent knowledge of Google Sheets and Microsoft Office Programs.
• Excellent command of Turkish and English, including writing and grammar skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with proactive ownership.

Responsibilities

• Process and validate monthly financial data from the Finance team.
• Design and implement control mechanisms to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Analyze discrepancies, errors, and missing information, and communicate findings to relevant business units.
• Verify the accuracy and integrity of data and reports for senior management and board.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting models, and their development.
• Perform detailed variance analyses between budgeted, forecasted and actual results.
• Develop LTBP and run scenario and sensitivity analyses for decision-making.
• Prepare analytical reports, financial projections, and presentations for key stakeholders.
• Monitor, analyze, and maintain KPI data with timely data entry.
• Support data analysis initiatives and contribute to performance evaluation processes.
