Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer based in Turkey to build and operate large-scale data and ML pipelines in production.

You will work across data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and ML operations to turn models into reliable production workflows, with a focus on Python, ETL, Airflow, and AWS-based infrastructure. You will collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to productionize forecasting and data-driven solutions, monitor pipelines, and contribute to architecture

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience with Python for data engineering and production systems.
• Proven track record building and maintaining production data and ML pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration and AWS data services.
• Experience deploying ML models with SageMaker and operating in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve production-grade data and ML pipelines for forecasting and analytics.
• Develop ETL and data-processing workflows using Python, scalable and reliable.
• Design and orchestrate workflows with Airflow and AWS Step Functions.
• Use AWS Glue for data processing and pipeline execution.
• Support deployment and operationalization of ML models via SageMaker.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to productionize solutions.
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability and performance.
• Contribute to architectural decisions for data platform and ML infrastructure.
• Work with distributed Agile teams and contribute engineering improvements.
