Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. in Turkey seeks a Senior Data Software Engineer to design data exchange and platform tooling for a large engineering organization. You will build scalable backend services in Python, develop PySpark data pipelines and manage Databricks environments on AWS.

You will collaborate across geographies, implement secure data sharing via Delta Sharing, and contribute to distributed microservices and platform initiatives with a strong focus on quality and governance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Software Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cross-region data exchange solutions with regulatory and security requirements.
• Build and maintain scalable backend services and integrations in Python.
• Develop and support data pipelines using PySpark and Apache Airflow (MWAA).
• Deploy and manage Databricks environments on AWS via Terraform modules.
• Establish and maintain Delta Sharing for secure data sharing between Databricks accounts.
• Create microservices and tooling to enable collaboration across distributed teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across geographies and business units.
