Job summary

World Business Lenders (WBL) is seeking a Contract and Vendor Management Team Lead to own the operational framework for contracts, outside counsel, legal vendors, and other service providers supporting Corporate Legal. This fully remote, multinational team works mostly in Eastern Time hours.

The role focuses on establishing consistent contracting, engagement, billing, and renewal processes while balancing risk, cost, and service quality.

Qualifications

• Must have a law degree with proof of qualification.
• 5+ years in contract management, vendor management, legal operations, procurement, or in-house legal environment.
• Experience negotiating commercial terms and administering contracts through full lifecycle.
• Strong project-management, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the intake, review, negotiation, approval, execution, storage, renewal, and termination workflow for Corporate Legal contracts and engagement letters.
• Review NDAs and contracts; issue spotting and revisions; elevate as needed.
• Maintain approved templates, playbooks, approval standards, and contract repository.
