Job summary

Fessler & Bowman is seeking a seasoned Concrete Foreman to lead a crew on concrete and earthwork projects. You will manage formwork, pouring, and elevations, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety standards.

Travel to surrounding job sites is required; strong communication and coaching abilities are essential to maintain client satisfaction and project quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Concrete Foreman experience.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record preferred.
• Experience leading crews of 6+ people while ensuring formwork, pouring and elevations meet specs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coach and guide crew members.
• Strong safety orientation and attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Validate take-off quantities and ensure materials, equipment, and subcontractors are on site per schedule.
• Review grades and ensure elevations align with latest drawings.
• Prepare a 3-week look ahead with the Superintendent and PM.
• Communicate daily progress to PM and address schedule risks.
• Track equipment and demobilize as work completes.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Organize and direct personnel to execute project requirements.
• Interpret plans and shop drawings to perform work correctly.
• Order materials per plans and specifications as assigned.
• Coordinate and schedule equipment and tools.
• Ensure OSHA and environmental compliance on site.
• Lead safety and quality on site and close punch lists.
