Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager to partner with enterprise and startup customers in Turkey. Based in Istanbul, you will be the principal technical advisor, helping teams adopt and optimize AWS services across compute, storage, databases, and security.

You will lead strategic technical guidance, manage incidents, advise executives, and collaborate with Solutions Architects, Professional Services, and sales to drive value. Travel up to 10% will be required.

Qualifications

5+ years designing or operating distributed applications.
5+ years of technical engineering experience.
Experience in a similar TAM/consulting/architect role.
Ability to engage with both technical and executive stakeholders.
Experience with multiple compute/storage/networking/CDN/DBs/DevOps/Big Data.

Responsibilities

Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity.
Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges.
Drive technical discussions on incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
Consult with developers through to C-suite executives.
Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Professional Services, and Sales Account Managers.
Proactively identify opportunities to gain additional value from AWS.
Provide reviews of service events and monthly/quarterly metrics.
Assist customers in migrating workloads to the cloud.
