Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a hands-on Senior Security Infrastructure Engineer to strengthen security posture across cloud infrastructure, applications, and developer workflows. You will own investigations, drive security improvements, and partner with engineering to embed security into how we build and operate systems.

You will leverage AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD hardening to reduce supply chain risks, while applying AI to automate security processes and scale the team’s impact.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of security, software, or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience securing cloud-based production systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead vulnerability management across infra, platforms, and apps with remediation coordination.
• Build and mature SIEM/XDR capabilities and incident response workflows.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive long-term fixes.
• Design detection strategies for suspicious activity using telemetry.
• Lead threat modeling and security design reviews to reduce risk.
