Job summary

Mobven, established in 2012 and recognized for rapid growth in the EMEA region, seeks a skilled Business Analyst to drive mobile banking projects from requirements to delivery. You will translate business needs into functional specs, model processes with UML/BPMN, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize customer journeys.

Your role involves analyzing end-to-end digital banking processes, validating API and data flows, and supporting UAT.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst.
Hands-on experience in mobile banking or digital banking projects is strongly preferred.
Strong experience in gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business and system requirements.
Ability to translate business requests into clear functional and technical requirements.
Experience in preparing functional and technical requirement documents, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and business rules.
Strong knowledge of business process analysis and process modelling.
Experience with UML and BPMN modelling techniques.
Experience in process, system, gap, and impact analysis.
Ability to analyze mobile app flows and API interactions with backend services and systems.
Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation.
Knowledge of XML and Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
Experience using API testing tools such as Postman.
Experience preparing test scenarios and coordinating UAT processes.
Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Experience collaborating with software development, QA, product, and architecture teams.
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, MS Office, and related tools.
Strong spreadsheet and presentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication; stakeholder management.
Ability to explain complex topics clearly to business and technical stakeholders.
Ability to coordinate multiple initiatives and stakeholders simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements and stakeholder requests for mobile and digital banking products.
Collaborate with business units, product, software, QA, architects, and other stakeholders across the lifecycle.
Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
Gather, analyze, clarify, prioritize, and document requirements and rules.
Prepare functional and technical requirement docs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
Analyze customer journeys and identify opportunities for improvements.
Model current and future business processes using UML and BPMN.
Conduct process, system, gap, and impact analyses for new products and changes.
Examine interactions between mobile apps, backend services, APIs, and banking systems.
Review API definitions and integration flows using Swagger/OpenAPI, XML.
Perform data analysis using SQL for validation and verification.
Propose improvements for processes, system capabilities, and customer experience.
Prepare and review test scenarios, cases, results, and traceability.
Coordinate and support UAT activities with business users and QA.
Track changes, defects, dependencies, risks, and actions to resolution.
Keep documentation accurate and up to date; participate in Agile ceremonies.
Support backlog prioritization with business context and requirements details.
Present analysis outcomes and project updates to stakeholders.
Manage multiple analysis initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
