Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong banking domain experience to bridge business and IT teams on transformation initiatives. Hands-on banking expertise is required for this role.

You will lead requirements gathering, document functional specs, and drive collaboration across stakeholders while contributing to project delivery in both Agile and Waterfall environments. Fluent English is essential for global coordination.

Qualifications

7+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst.
Mandatory experience in the banking industry.
Expert-level knowledge in at least one banking domain (Core Banking, Deposits, Accounts, Finance & Accounting, Lending/Loan Origination, Treasury, International Banking Operations, Payment Systems, Customer Management & Digital Channels).
Fluent English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Analyze business needs and translate them into clear, comprehensive functional and business requirements.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and maintain business analysis documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to business transformation initiatives.
Support solution design by ensuring business requirements are accurately interpreted and implemented.
Participate in testing activities, including functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Facilitate communication between business and IT teams and ensure successful project delivery.
