We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Big Data Administrator who is passionate about managing complex big data environments using modern technologies. Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, operate, and maintain big data platforms and tools
- Ensure the stability, performance, reliability, and scalability of big data infrastructures
- Monitor big data platforms and automate operational and maintenance tasks
- Perform troubleshooting, system tuning, and capacity planning
- Work closely with technical and business teams to analyze requirements and provide infrastructure solutions
- Manage and support high-volume data processing environments

Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in Big Data Administration / Operations
- Strong expertise in big data ecosystems, both cloud-based and on-premises
- Hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools and distributed systems
- Experience in managing and administering open-source applications and data platforms
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Proactive mindset with a passion for learning and adopting new technologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Security Experience (Key Plus)
- Experience with security operations such as:
- Basic Authentication, LDAP, SSL, Kerberos and similar security configurations
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker stack for container orchestration and platform management
Optional / Plus Skills
The following skills are not mandatory but will be considered a plus:
- Experience in developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining batch and streaming data pipelines
- Experience in batch data processing and real-time streaming technologies
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL, ETL pipelines, and data lake architectures
