On behalf of our client, a reputable law firm, we are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join its Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) and Data Protection practice.

This role is suited to a lawyer who combines strong technical expertise with sound commercial judgment, takes ownership of complex matters and is comfortable leading both projects and teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising local and international clients on data protection, privacy and TMT matters
• Leading data protection compliance and regulatory advisory projects
• Drafting and reviewing legal opinions, policies, agreements and other legal documentation
• Managing client relationships and coordinating matters from initial assessment through delivery
• Supervising and supporting junior team members
• Monitoring regulatory developments and translating them into practical guidance for clients
• Supporting general corporate and commercial matters when required

Qualifications

• Law degree from a reputable university
• 6–10 years of experience gained at a reputable law firm
• Strong experience in data protection compliance projects and advisory work
• Solid knowledge of TMT and privacy-related legislation and practices
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Demonstrated team and project management capabilities
• Strategic, critical and solution-oriented thinking
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team
• Experience in general corporate and commercial matters is considered an asset
