Job summary

Avenga in Turkey is seeking an AI/ML software engineer to design and develop AI agents, prompts, and agentic workflows. You'll work with data scientists and product owners to translate knowledge into reusable AI context and skills.

You will refactor Python and SQL resources for AI consumption, work with Snowflake data structures and semantic models, and assess agent recommendations for correctness and bias within an evaluation framework.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with AI coding environments and prompt engineering.
• Strong understanding of LLM behavior, evaluation methods, and bias detection.
• Solid software engineering discipline with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Proficient in Python and SQL with data workflows in analytics environments.
• Familiarity with data warehouses, semantic layers, and BI platforms.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently, with advanced English.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI agents, prompts, skills, and agentic workflows.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Product Owner to convert knowledge into reusable AI context and skills.
• Review, refactor, and extend Python and SQL resources for AI consumption.
• Work with Snowflake data structures, semantic views, and semantic models for data-driven workflows.
• Assess agent recommendations for correctness, reliability, bias, and business relevance; automate evaluation.
