Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior AI Engineer specializing in agentic SDKs and workflows to build an Agentic intelligence platform for self-service charging site analytics.

You will structure multi-step reasoning, orchestrate autonomous tasks, and integrate tools within a Chatbot interface. Key focus areas include semantic layer deployment on lakehouse, ontology modeling for Site/Catchment/Utilization, and governed SQL views for auditable results.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AI engineering experience focused on agentic systems
• Experience designing multi-step reasoning workflows and autonomous task orchestration
• Proficiency with Unity Catalog, Databricks Agent Bricks, and Genie
• Ability to design semantic layers and governed SQL views for lakehouse architectures
• Strong English communication skills (B2+)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop agentic AI solutions with structured workflows and tool integration
• Deploy semantic layer on lakehouse to enable self-service analytics for utilization analysis
• Define ontology and core entities (Site, Catchment, RealizedUtilization) for reusable data foundations
• Create auditable, explainable SQL views citing sources and calculation logic
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define answer sets for utilization questions
• Enable self-service adoption for weekly queries without heavy data team involvement
• Integrate agentic workflows with existing data platforms for scalability and reuse
