Job summary

Çalık Holding seeks a Tax Specialist to join the Tax and Accounting Department in Istanbul. You will monitor tax filings, track regulatory developments, and support group-wide tax reporting and transfer pricing initiatives.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, strong English skills, and a solid understanding of domestic and international tax regimes. Collaboration and continuous learning are essential in this team.

Qualifications

• Degree from a reputable university in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably within the tax department of an audit/advisory firm or a multinational organization.
• Good knowledge of domestic and international tax legislation, including Double Tax Treaties.
• Knowledge of OECD BEPS developments, including transfer pricing, Country-by-Country Reporting and Pillar Two, would be considered an asset.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to research, learn, and develop.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze the tax filings and compliance processes of Group subsidiaries.
• Track recent and upcoming developments in domestic and international tax regulations and assess their potential impact on Group companies.
• Follow up on required tax reports, compliance processes and tax-related projects.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of the Group's local and global tax reporting requirements.
• Support and coordinate transfer pricing compliance and reporting processes, including the collection and review of necessary documentation.
• Analyze and coordinate data from Group entities for Country-by-Country Reporting requirements in line with the OECD BEPS framework.
• Support the Group's Pillar Two compliance activities, including data collection and coordination with Group entities and external advisors for GloBE calculations, Transitional CbCR Safe Harbour assessments, QDMTT and GloBE Information Return requirements.
• Monitor OECD and local developments relating to Pillar Two and support the assessment of their implications for Group entities.
• Support the management of tax audits and disputes with tax authorities and follow up on tax litigation processes.
• Contribute to tax optimization initiatives and the development and implementation of the Group's tax strategy.
• Provide tax support for restructuring and other business transformation projects.
