Job summary

A global leader in professional services is looking for Assistants & Seniors to join their Accounting Compliance and Reporting team in Istanbul. The role involves performing daily accounting transactions, preparing tax returns, and coordinating with clients. Candidates should have a degree in Accounting or Finance, relevant experience, and fluency in English. The position offers a flexible working environment along with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 2-7 years of experience in general accounting.
• Knowledge of Uniform Chart of Accounts is essential.
• SMMM qualification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform and review daily accounting transactions.
• Perform month-end/quarter-end/year-end closing activities.
• Prepare tax returns and compliance requirements.

Skills

Fluency in both written and spoken English

Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills

General accounting experience

Knowledge of MS NAV, SAP, and Oracle accounting systems

Proven originator and team player

Education

University degree in Accounting and Finance or Business Administration
