Qualifications

• Minimum 1.5 years direct exposure to Turkish GAAP.
• SMMM qualification or equivalent is an asset.
• Experience in an outsourcing firm is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting transactions of clients.
• Perform intercompany reconciliation and ensure compliance with group GAAP requirements.
• Prepare tax returns and other compliance requirements.

As an Accounting & Tax Assistant, you will be helping our team in providing efficient and top quality service to portfolio of assigned clients. You will work in accordance with local Accounting and Tax legislation and in line with internal clients’ regulations, as well in compliance with all internal procedures and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing daily accounting transactions of clients,
• Performing intercompany reconciliation and ensure compliance with group GAAP requirements,
• Maintaining reconciliations with related and third parties,
• Preparing Tax Returns and Other Compliance Requirements,
• Preparing payrolls for clients’ employees,
• Coordination and communication with shared service centers and clients’ tax teams resident abroad,
• Coordination and communication with clients’ tax offices,

Key Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics (English curriculum is a plus).
• Solid accounting and financial reporting experience required: minimum 1.5 years direct exposure to Turkish GAAP (Experience in an outsourcing firm is an asset)
• Good knowledge of Turkish Tax and Accounting requirements
• SMMM qualification or equivalent is an asset
• Good knowledge of English.
• Good MS Office Applications and Accounting software required.
• Payroll knowledge is an asset
