World Business Lenders, LLC is seeking an entry-level Cybersecurity Engineer to help protect our systems, devices, and data. You will monitor security activity, investigate alerts, and support security controls improvements under guidance from the Cybersecurity Team Lead and Infrastructure & Security Manager.

Working fully remotely with US Eastern business hours, you will collaborate with cloud, development, and Help Desk teams to implement approved security changes, run vulnerability scans, and

Qualifications

• Strong spoken and written English; ability to document clearly.
• Foundational networking, Windows or Linux, authentication, and security controls.
• Exposure to security tools through coursework, labs, internships, or entry-level roles.
• Ability to review logs, follow procedures, and escalate when needed.
• Education, training, or equivalent demonstrated skills; handle confidential information carefully.

Responsabilités

• Monitor security alerts and logs; investigate suspicious activity and escalate as needed.
• Support incident response using established procedures and containment actions.
• Run vulnerability scans and track remediation with system owners.
• Assist with endpoint protection, email security, and access controls.
• Support access reviews, MFA, and least-privilege controls; report exceptions.
• Maintain security procedures, incident records, and audit evidence.
• Collaborate with cloud, development, and Help Desk teams to implement security changes.
