Job summary

Siemens AG in Turkey seeks a seasoned industrial automation engineer to develop and maintain SCADA applications, with strong WinCC expertise and crane automation focus. You will plan projects, perform UI/UX testing, and work across design, commissioning, and handover with customers.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in SCADA, PLC programming experience (S7/TIA Portal), IT/OT knowledge, and English proficiency for global collaboration. Some travel and on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field and strong English communication skills.
• At least 5 years in industrial automation/SCADA projects with customer involvement.
• Hands-on SIMATIC WinCC with experience across options and integration capabilities.
• Experience in PLC programming, diagnostics, and SCADA integration (S7, TIA Portal).
• Knowledge of IT/OT, industrial networks, and cybersecurity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance SCADA applications and industrial software components focusing on reliability and performance.
• Plan, track, and manage project progress, milestones, and customer inquiries across teams.
• Perform rigorous UI/UX testing for crane products and SCADA solutions to ensure usability.
• Translate requirements into delivery-ready solutions using feedback from customers and field experience.
• Deliver engineering solutions from design to commissioning and handover with customers.
• Plan upgrades and migrations for existing systems with minimal disruption.
• Integrate SCADA with in-house and third-party automation systems and higher-level apps.
• Address IT/OT integration and cybersecurity requirements within automation projects.
• Provide hotline, remote, and on-site support and deliver technical training and workshops.
• Support pre-sales activities with feasibility assessments, system configurations, BOMs, and demos.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including user manuals and guides.
