Job summary

Hayat is seeking a SAP MM & EWM Team Lead to drive procurement, warehouse, and inventory solutions from Istanbul HQ. You will lead the functional SAP MM/ EWM team, align with global templates, manage projects, and collaborate across finance, logistics, and IT to deliver scalable processes.

You will work in a multinational setup, leveraging SAP S/4HANA expertise and AI‑enabled improvements to optimize operations and drive digital transformation across regions.

Responsibilities

• Own SAP MM processes and solutions as the primary functional lead.
• Provide functional leadership for SAP EWM and ensure alignment between procurement, warehouse, inventory, and logistics processes.
• Lead and coordinate the SAP MM and EWM functional team, including workload planning, prioritization, mentoring, and escalation management.
• Manage the complete solution lifecycle from business requirements and feasibility analysis through design, development, testing, cutover, training, go-live, and post-go-live support.
• Lead SAP MM and EWM projects, rollouts, process improvements, and major change requests.
• Design and continuously improve end‑to‑end procurement, inbound, outbound, inventory, and warehouse execution processes.
• Work closely with global and local key users to deliver solutions aligned with the global template while managing justified local requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and other SAP teams to ensure integration and process alignment across FI, CO, SD, PP, QM, TM, and related domains.
• Manage integrations with supplier platforms, EDI, e‑Invoicing, warehouse automation, WMS, transportation systems, and other third‑party applications.
• Identify opportunities to use artificial intelligence in business processes and develop or recommend AI‑supported solutions that improve efficiency, automation, decision‑making, and user experience.
• Support non‑SAP application, digital platform, integration, and transformation initiatives by working closely with relevant business and technology teams.
• Coordinate with AMS providers and implementation partners, provide technical guidance, and manage Level‑2 support and escalations.
• Monitor project risks, budgets, timelines, resources, and deliverables, and recommend corrective actions when required.
• Promote SAP standard solutions, process governance, data accuracy, and sustainable system design.
• Prepare documentation, deliver end‑user training, and support knowledge transfer across the team.
• Conduct regular visits to business units, warehouses, and production sites in İzmit, Gebze, and other relevant locations.

Role Summary

We are looking for a SAP MM & EWM Team Lead to lead our SAP procurement, warehouse, and inventory solutions. SAP MM will be the primary functional responsibility, while practical knowledge and experience in SAP EWM will be expected as an important supporting capability. The successful candidate will lead the functional team, manage projects and improvements, and collaborate closely with procurement, supply chain, logistics, warehouse, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in SAP MM and procurement processes, including experience in leading SAP projects or functional teams.
• Strong end‑to‑end knowledge of SAP MM and the Procure‑to‑Pay process, including material master data, source determination, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, scheduling agreements, goods receipt, invoice verification, inventory management, and valuation.
• Practical experience and good functional understanding of SAP EWM processes, including inbound and outbound operations, goods receipt and goods issue, warehouse orders and tasks, putaway, picking, replenishment, internal movements, handling units, and physical inventory.
• SAP MM expertise must be the primary strength; experience with SAP EWM is required, while embedded or decentralized EWM experience is an advantage.
• Good understanding of integration between SAP MM, EWM, FI, CO, SD, PP, QM, TM, and related business processes.
• Experience with integrations involving supplier portals, EDI, e‑Invoicing, tax, WMS, warehouse automation, barcode/RF solutions, transportation systems, and other third‑party applications.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
• Experience working in international and multi‑location organizations, managing global templates, local requirements, and justified deviations.
• Ability to manage projects, rollouts, system improvements, and change requests throughout the complete lifecycle.
• Hands‑on experience with ITIL processes, JIRA, testing, cutover, go‑live, and post‑go‑live support.
• Experience in Level‑2 support and coordination with AMS providers and external implementation partners.
• Strong team leadership, stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, documentation, and process governance skills.
• Ability to lead and prioritize the functional team’s workload, coordinate activities, mentor team members, and manage escalations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on SAP standard functionality and minimizing unnecessary custom developments.
• Ability to effectively use artificial intelligence tools in daily work and propose AI‑supported solutions that simplify processes, reduce manual activities, and improve operational efficiency.
• Ability to contribute to non‑SAP application, platform, integration, and digital transformation projects in collaboration with relevant teams.
• Interest in digital transformation initiatives, including automation, low‑code platforms, RPA, and AI‑supported solutions.
• Ability to follow emerging technologies and adapt them to business needs.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
