Job summary

Hayat, a leading FMCG group, invites an experienced Cost Planning & Analysis Manager to join the Finance team at HQ in Istanbul. You will drive month-end cost closures, intercompany markup analyses, and end-to-end costing standardisation across globe alongside the SAP transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics or Engineering from reputable university.
• Min 12 years of experience in production companies (preferably in FMCG) in Cost Controlling, Month end Actual costing, SC business partnering, category finance BP or similar roles.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint).
• Power BI and SAP knowledge are must.
• Fluency in English both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to turn big data into insights.
• Ability to work with tight deadlines and complex data.
• Good communication and influencing skills in a multi-cultural global organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead month end cost closure process with subsidiaries; ensure cost accounting conforms to local GAAP and policies.
• Perform Actual mark‑up calculations and analysis for intercompany trade transactions.
• Define and monitor key controls in production processes for accurate month end closure and SKU profitability by country.
• Oversee end-to-end budgeting across Hayat Consumer Group subsidiaries.
• Forecast cost cycles and monthly production cost forecasts for sourcing units to support decisions.
• Review and explain deviations of cost of goods manufactured and sold vs forecasts.
• Provide ad hoc reports for senior management for country/global deep dives or scenario templates.
• Study feasibility for new markets or category expansions and support decision making.

We are currently seeking a talented “Cost Planning & Analysis Manager” to join our dynamic “Finance” team. Based in “HQ, Istanbul” this role will contribute to transformative projects under the Consumer Group.

Required Qualifications

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Lead month end cost closure process with subsidiaries; while ensuring all cost accounting processes are carried out in accordance with the local gaap requirements and company accounting policies.
• Actual mark – up calculation and analysis for intercompany trade transactions
• Define and monitor key controls in production processes for accurate month end closure and SKU profitabilities in countries,
• Ensuring the end-to-end management of the budget cost process for the subsidiaries of Hayat Consumer Group ,
• Performing forecast cost cycles and preparing monthly production cost forecast of sourcing units (countries) to support business decisions,
• Review, analyze and explain deviations of cost of goods manufactured and sold in actuals vs forecasts,
• Provide ad hoc reports to senior management for country specific and/or global cost deep dive studies or scenerio templates
• Study category / product/ production line feasibility studies for new market entries, or category expansions
• Business partnering of R&D, Marketing, Procurement or Region functions in the areas of SKU profitability and R&D feasibility scenerios to support decision making
• Design and execute standardisation in end to end costing process across the globe in parallel with SAP transformation project
• Have monthly meetings with country costing teams for explanations of montly profitabilities and deviations.
• Prepare annual trainings and manuals to improve the capabilities in countries in costing area
