Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• One year of recent RN/LPN or related ambulatory experience; internal transfers within Cleveland Clinic accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status and establish care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify physician of abnormal findings.
• Assist with diagnostic/therapeutic procedures and special care equipment.
• Develop and document health education for patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Travel within the region to support clinics and procedures.
